Privacy Policy
Modern Freedom Consulting ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit modernfreedom.pro or engage with us, how we use it, and what rights you have over that information.
Information We Collect
Information you provide directly
When you contact us by email, phone, or book your Clarity Audit through Calendly, we collect the information you choose to share — typically your name, email address, phone number, business name, and any context you provide about your needs or situation.
Information collected automatically
When you visit our website, certain information is collected automatically by our hosting provider (Netlify) and any analytics tools we may use in the future. This may include:
- Your IP address and approximate location (city/region level)
- Your browser type, version, and operating system
- The pages you visit on our site, and how long you spend on each
- The website that referred you to us, if any
- The date and time of your visit
Information collected by third-party services
Some features of our site rely on third-party services that may collect their own information when you use them:
- Calendly — when you book your Clarity Audit, Calendly collects the information you enter (name, email, scheduling details). Calendly's own privacy practices are governed by their privacy policy at calendly.com.
- Google Fonts — our site loads fonts from Google's servers. Google may log your IP address as part of normal web requests.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for a limited set of purposes:
- To respond to your inquiries — when you reach out, we use your contact information to follow up, schedule conversations, and answer your questions.
- To deliver our services — if you engage us for a Clarity Audit, AI Assistant build, or consulting engagement, we use the information you share to deliver that work.
- To improve our site — automatic data helps us understand which pages are useful and where visitors lose interest.
- To comply with legal obligations — we may retain certain information as required by tax, accounting, or other legal requirements.
How We Do Not Use Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent, trade, or otherwise share it with third parties for their marketing purposes. We do not add you to mailing lists you didn't request. Your contact information stays with us, and is used only for the reason you shared it.
How We Share Information
We share information only in the limited circumstances described below:
- Service providers — third-party services we use to operate our business (such as our hosting provider, calendar tool, email service, and payment processors) may have access to information necessary to perform their function. They are required by contract or industry standard to handle that information securely.
- Legal requirements — we may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government request, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
- Business transfers — if Modern Freedom Consulting is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of business assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. You would be notified before that happens.
Cookies and Tracking
Our website uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies. For full details, see our Cookie Policy. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect some functionality of the site, particularly the Calendly booking feature.
Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by law:
- Contact inquiries that don't lead to engagement: typically deleted within 12 months
- Active client records and engagement files: retained for the duration of the engagement plus 7 years (for tax and recordkeeping purposes)
- Website analytics data: retained according to our analytics provider's defaults, typically 26 months or less
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including:
- Access — request a copy of the information we hold about you
- Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate information
- Deletion — ask us to delete your information, subject to legal retention requirements
- Opt-out — opt out of any marketing communications (we don't send unsolicited marketing, but if that ever changes, you can opt out)
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information below. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and as required by applicable law.
Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We take reasonable precautions to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. This includes using HTTPS encryption on our site, secure third-party services for booking and communication, and limiting access to your information to people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be noted on our home page or communicated directly to clients. Continued use of our site after a change indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, United States. Any disputes arising from this policy will be resolved under Nevada law.
